We recently had the exciting opportunity to design two stunning one-bedroom tiny homes, each fully finished and ready to be used as Airbnb rentals. The goal was to create unique, cozy, and efficient spaces that would offer guests a memorable experience, blending the charm of tiny home living with the comforts of a luxury retreat.
For both homes, we focused on optimizing space while maintaining an inviting, comfortable atmosphere. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure the homes were functional and stylish, perfect for short stays that still feel like a home away from home.
In the living areas, we designed open, airy spaces with modern finishes and a minimalist aesthetic. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished with comfortable, space-saving furniture that allows guests to relax and unwind. Clever storage solutions help keep the space clutter-free, while large windows bring in natural light and provide views of the surroundings, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness. The homes exude a warm, welcoming vibe, ideal for a variety of guests looking for either a peaceful retreat or a cozy base for exploration.
Each home features a small kitchenette, compact yet fully functional, with energy-efficient appliances and custom cabinetry. We made sure to incorporate everything needed for a self-sufficient stay: a mini-fridge, a microwave, and essential kitchenware. The kitchenette design is sleek and efficient, maximizing counter space while providing guests with the ability to prepare meals and snacks or even a quick breakfast.
The bathrooms were designed as serene, spa-like retreats. Using high-end fixtures and a soothing colour palette, we created spaces that feel indulgent yet practical. A spacious shower, premium storage solutions, and thoughtfully chosen materials come together to offer guests a refreshing and relaxing experience after a day of adventures.
Both tiny homes feature a durable, low-maintenance exterior with composite cladding, giving the homes a sleek, modern appearance while also ensuring they stand up to the elements. The composite cladding also provides additional insulation, helping to regulate the internal temperature and ensuring the homes remain comfortable for guests year-round—whether it’s a cool winter evening or a hot summer day.
The result is two beautifully designed, fully finished one-bedroom tiny homes, each tailored for the Airbnb experience.
